Dr Rama Mark – Clinical Director of APEX PCN & GPwER in Gynaecology

Dr Mark qualified in 1984 from Delhi University. She followed her urologist husband to the UK and worked in South East Kent and obtained her membership of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology before moving to Lincoln to retrain as a General Practitioner.

Rama has been a GP at the Birchwood Medical practice for 20 years and additionally is a GP with special interest in Gynaecology and a valued primary care gynaecology resource for the CCG. She is also a clinical supervisor for foundation year doctors and takes an active part in the education of the large GP trainee cohort that train at her practice.

Rama is now the Joint clinical director of Apex PCN in Lincoln along with her colleague Dr Smith. In her role as CD she is committed to addressing the population needs of her PCN by working collaboratively with member practices and community providers to improve the health outcomes in her area. The PCN alliance has lent her an opportunity to take an active role in raising awareness of BAME issues within the NHS and also help shape the digital workstream within the CCG.

She would like to speak to us about countywide implementation of gynae pathways. Specifically to get some feedback on our experience of gynae referrals to take back to the table in order to help shape the referral pathways

Jamie Mackenzie – Director of Oak Shields Estate Planning

Jamie has experience working with GPs, Practices and other clinicians, helping prepare them for financial planning, business powers of attorney, wills and other financial concerns.

He plans to focus on environmentally sustainable and socially responsible investing in Teak, and Business powers of attorney during his talk.
