Originally from Yorkshire, Dr Bevis Heap qualified from Leicester and has worked locally since. A GP for over 29 years, 26 as a trainer, he retired from practice in 2015.

Dr Heap is an Associate Postgraduate Dean for Primary Care , Clinical Lead for the GP Retention Scheme and Lead in charge of the New Trainers Course
